SSC CGL Syllabus 2022 – Level Of Exam
The SSC CGL exam syllabus is divided into two phases, commonly known as Tier-I and Tier-II. Tier 1 and Tier 2 of SSC CGL 2022 are conducted online. SSC CGL Tier 1 exam is of qualifying nature whereas the final selection is based on SSC CGL Tier 2 exam.
SSC CGL Syllabus 2022 for Tier 1:- Students beginning with SSC CGL exam preparation must be aware of the subject-wise SSC CGL syllabus for the Tier-1 exam which consists of 4 sections- Quantitative Aptitude (Quantitative Aptitude), General Intelligence (General Intelligence) and Reasoning (General Intelligence). The detailed SSC CGL syllabus for the Tier-1 exam is discussed in detail below. SSC CGL Tier-1 exam will be qualifying in nature. As per the SSC CGL syllabus for the Tier-1 exam, there will be 4 sections with 25 questions in each. The time duration to complete the Tier-I exam is 60 minutes and there is a negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.
SSC CGL Syllabus 2022 for Tier 2:- After the preliminary exam is conducted, it will be necessary to prepare for the Tier-II exam of the SSC CGL 2022 exam. The Main Examination will be conducted online and it is an Objective Multiple Choice Test except for Module II (Data Entry Speed Test) of Section III of Paper-I.
Paper-I will be conducted in two parts – Part I and Part II, if both papers will be conducted on the same day. It is mandatory for all candidates to qualify in Paper 1. SSC CGL Syllabus 2022 Important Points
- The tier-I exam is mandatory for all the posts mentioned in the SSC CGL 2022 notification. Candidates have to prepare for both Tier 1 and Tier 2 exams simultaneously.
- For SSC CGL Tier 2 – Paper I (compulsory for all posts), Paper II is compulsory for candidates applying for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in the Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation.
- It is mandatory for the candidates applying for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer to clear Paper III.
- There will be a deduction of 0.5 marks in the Tier-I examination for the wrong answers to any question.
- In Tier II, there will be a negative marking of 1 for each wrong answer in Paper-I, Paper II, and Paper III.
